Journal of Building Materials and Structures (JBMS) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal, published by the Civil Engineering Researcher Club in the University Amar Telidji-Laghouat, with no publication fee that publishes, in English, in all areas of building materials and engineering structures. The journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and academic excellence.

JBMS is currently published semi-annually and offers a meeting targeted for specialists around the world to publish and discuss all topics related to the building materials and structures.

JBMS topics include, but are not limited to, research on :

  • Elaboration and characterization of building materials.
  • Experimental techniques.
  • Microstructural properties and structural engineering.

The 3rd International Symposium on Materials and Sustainable Development will include a 2-day Conferences (07 & 08 November 2017). Organized by the Research Unit: Materials, Processes and Environment and University M'hamed Bougara of Boumerdes, this symposium follows the success of CIMDD 2013-2015 and continues the traditions of the highly successful series of International Conferences on the materials, processes and Environment. The Symposium will provide a unique topical forum to share the latest results of the materials and sustainable development research in Algeria and worldwide.

  • July 31, 2017: Notification of Acceptance.
  • September 30, 2017: Full Paper Submission.
  • November 7 & 8, 2017: Conference Dates.
